Gray Area Radar
The inspectable view behind the Grayness Score: for a legal question it shows which ambiguity tests fired, grouped by layer, with the passages and cases behind each signal, so a lawyer can verify that the conflict is real.

A score alone would reproduce the problem it is meant to solve: one more confident-looking number. The Gray Area Radar is the Institute's specification of the interface that makes the score inspectable. It separates shallow uncertainty (authority not found yet) from genuine uncertainty (courts disagree), and it grounds every signal in citable material: the split decisions, the reserved questions, the dissents.
The Radar is a specification in the Grayness Score and Gray Area Radar framework, version 0.1, not a shipped product. Its weights and thresholds await the calibration described in Detecting Genuine Doctrinal Ambiguity.
